  1. Your pictures are a million times better than mine of that Viola: what a heavenly day! What a great conference: you've launched your term with pizazz! You even managed to tether all the wild beasts at the board meeting! We're lucky to have you as President: your vision is inspiring…

Looking forward to seeing lots more pictures from Michigan (winnowing down the hundreds I took at each garden will prove a chore!)…

    1. Thanks PK. I have to admit that I was surprised by the photos myself, since I had to use my iPhone, and they looked so pale on screen in the bright sunshine – at least they worked out, but hey – thank mega-pixels more than any talent on my end! Also thanks for the kind words of support regarding the board meeting and vision – fingers crossed that it all holds and inspires everyone to worry more about the plants than politics – I think much of the feedback has been positive however, so that is a great sign. Can't wait until next year however – Steamboat Springs never looked as enticing as it did in your presentation!!! Nude hot tubs and all!

  2. Beautiful pictures! I have to say I love the colors of these – such a soft violet! Thanks so much for sharing!

  3. dear matt
cool plants and great pix from the NARGS summit, but i think the V pedata are the best! we have them here–in a good year they form a lavender blue carpet on fire trails and roadsides. such a beautiful little plant.
    all best,
